Today I was surprised by a special flower delivery.....!! Nope...not from my secret admirer lah....But from my tutee....and it was hand delivered by her n her mum....sweeteness.....she has just finished her PSLE ...n i've been teaching eversince she was primary three..... so its a lil gesture of appreciation I guess....and she didn't forget one of my favourite things....CHOCOLATES!! The lil things (not the gifts....but the appreciation) that reminds me why I love to teach.

Even though school term has just ended.....I'm kinda prepared to start a new teaching year....Haha...I noe some of you mite think I'm NUTZ...why so gung-ho?? Ermm......perhaps its coz i spent the day spring cleaning my workstation...and organising my stuffs......threw away the pile of papers n crap.....re-arranged my things.....I even got lil boxes labelled for next year.... "form class matters"....."school website matters"...."extra worsheet"....."worksheet to be marked"...."marked worksheet"...ALL neatly arranged n piled up ready for the new year..... I've even ordered files for my future classes *super nutz*.... and printed out content pages for the files....I noe...again NUTZ!!!
Well u see..i need to organise my stuffs...and have some structure in my life, without which my mind will go chaotic..and my whole world crumbles....yupz...so dats what I did today in school....even compilied all the worksheets n tests for each level in individual folders..for easy access in case I have to teach the same level again....

Ya...so i'm ready.....hehe...I even thought out how I'm going to make my collection of books...and worksheet more efficient.....i will be going back to school for the next 2 weeks, so i'll spend the rest of the time...preparing for next year's work..... i already have planz to begin preparing worksheets.....

I realise that I luuuuurve organising my stuffs...that explains all the white storage boxes in my cupboard....before I moved...i was bz going around hunting for storage boxes....during those times shah called me 'minah kotak'...mana2 pegi tengok kotak...tsk...tsk...Since i'm deep into my organising mood....i recently organised some of my tops and my countless bags (some are still stuffed in boxes from the move)....so you see it doesn't matter what it is i'm organising.re-arranging or re-shuffling....at the end of it all...it helps brighten up my days......

* CHILLIng out...and having a CRABBY good time *

Fulfilled lulu's craving for chilli crab...brought her to delish the wonderful dish @ CCS.....I'm such a wonderful sisto aren't I? And of course I brought along entertainment........in form of MR CRAPPY....Yes, he so missed teasing lulu....and making her fall for his lame...crappy tricks....so thru'out dinner lulu kena tipu cukup2....hehe ..hilarious...especially when Mr CRAPPY got BANDUNG BOY into cahoots.... kesian lulu....but as always she's a sport...lulu rawks!!

Oh ya btw she was awarded....Ms Most Gullible!!....but there was no competition here coz her tight contender Ms Toonie not in action...... Lulu did get manage to outwit him in one area....that is to figure out how to on her Mr Fuji...and he was baffled..haha!!

New love-birds shake n andhika was giggling n laughin (oklah..SHAKE was giggling not andhika) @ the two of them.....Well usually the teasing is spread over lulu n toonie...but since toonie not around ...lulu kena double dosage.....

Well...the food was fabulous and so was the company....I especially lurve the hot-buns that we ate with the crab sauce......SEDAP GILLER!!! AZ...rugi lah u tak dapat makan! But there'll be a next time alrite....together with all the GemZ in full force...hopefully...

Anyways we ended with a car ride home....with SHAWIE in CONCERT....tunggang terbalik my colt....sheeesh....anyways I lurve this hari raya song by awie n ZZ...though it doesnt really sound like a raya song......so i'll leave u with the REAL awie...enjoy..

He sings this favourite song of his all the time......hari2 practice...jadi boleh "meneran" mcm suara mat rock! He told me he always practice singing when riding his bike on the expressway...when no one can hear him....BUT one fine day...another biker was riding very close to him n caught him off guard while he was singing..Apalagi....dah paiseh abis pecutlah laju2...hehe..LOL!! badut lah my triple B ni.......kalau dalam kereta dia start....boleh terbalik kereta....haizz...Why he loves the song? Mr Mat jiwang says because the lyrics is specially dedicated for me..*aawwww*.....rock pun rock lah ....as long as it's for me.......

* fondue frenzy *

Another round of sweet...sinful ...chocolatey dessert...This was my second time having the Haagen Daaz fondue....mainly because its rather ex...Therefore the only reason I had it again was coz had a free $45 voucher from my dear daddy...
The reason why I feel it is expensive is b/c it seems like something u can actually concoct at home...with the right tools of trade of coz..one of which is to make sure u have delicious chocolate fudge that you can heat up in a ceramic pot...ala the aromatherapy pot... the rest of the "ingredients" are ez...fruits and ice cream...
Anyways..it is a romantic dessert for a couple especially if its on a special occasion or first date....As for us...we don't need a special occasion to celebrate our passion for food...hehe

* Life-size doll *

Have I ever mentioned that I have a life-size GOLLIWOG DOLL??
Do u remember the big-haired Golliwog doll in enid blyton's fairytales? Yupz....only dat MY golliwog doll is fair n lovely....and ultimately cute....she is super talkative....extremely adorable...and very mentel...

She chats incessantly like a mak nenek......and always wanna look pretty and sweet...
She'll go," Farah nye baju ada labuci....kaknye ada? Farah ada ......(dis n dat)..kakak ada?"..and she goes on n on..yadayadayada...Shelikes to be like the "kakak-kakak".....and has an endearing way of striking a conversation with you that just make u fall in love with her.....

She also luurves to read magazines...so there she was flipping thru' and religiously "reading" my SDU, Duet magazine (ok..so i was involuntarily and unknowingly made an SDU member...as are all other NUS grads...so there!)

And another thing..she adores taufik...though I can't fathom what is the alluring fascination about him?? *rolls eyes*..but yes she does...taufik and labuci...she sooooo luuurves...its her obsession.... my dad call her farah menachi coz she likes all things glittery...
She is so cute dat sometimes mcm nak kidnap dia.....but I have heard stories that she can be extremely irritating when she chatters on non-stop...but i'm sure it'll only be adorably irritating...hehe...ok so I'm crazy about this golliwogy... so farah...please dun grow up to soon...stay cute... forever......

* adunan or bahagian? raya or krismas? = I'm confused *

Finally on saturday I got to meet the rest of the GemZ......my intan payungs..hehe.. They all came over to my place for buka...penat tau I masak...goreng kacang....goreng keropok...sampai habis keropok nana makan...hahaha... There was the foto taking by Mr Fuji(lulu's digicam)...n sadly I wasnt in the fotos coz my Mr ixus "demam" and I didnt want "him" to be jealous...hiakz..*nutz*! ...thanx lulu nanti i bawak u BELANJA i makan chilli crab...

I spent sunday making THREE kinds of kuih...with mummy n kak nazrene. We baked chocolate chips....biskut ice-cream and chocolate tart!! It went on non-stop from 11 am to 5 pm...mcm production line...hehe...satu macam kuih sampai 2-3 ADUNAN....or as some call it BAHAGIAN...Anyway which do you call it 1 adunan kuih or satu bahagian?? Yah so you can imagine...my mummy was just the quality control supervisor ...nazrene n me had to do most of the "teraping" and "acuing" of the kuihs!!! And today I can feel the after-effects.....SAKIT PINGGANG....serious...coz I was standing up and kneading the dough for hours...so yah...I think next time if i'm baking on my own it'll only be 1 ADUNAN of kuih...not more....

On another note...it's the LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL!! For the students at least...but teachers are nevertheless thrilled by the fact that no need to see them anymore...hehe...NOT ALL ..i'll miss some of my students...but what the heck... I want the break... ANd I'm actually looking forward for raya....taking lots of pics..eating lots of kuih...YIPEE... I think there is still a lil kid trapped in this 25 yr old body....Yeah-yeah..nak raya....!!! And yes...rumah I pun ada lampu lap-lip tau ...lulu!!! Ala-ala christmas tree....so nanti datang rumah I kena bawak present letak bawak pokok krismas ok....izzy promised that she will bring a BIG PRESENT with pretty ribbons....jangan lupa tau...kalau tak tak dapat duit raya....!!

Ok this is by far the most messed up entry...my thoughts are scattered all over the place and I'm just rambling on and on...for those of you who are still reading up to this very word...KUDOS to u for being able to keep up and hopefully make sense of my jumbled tots....ok gotta go....i think i'm feelin dizzy.....

I dun really fancy the term....or this next one "orang rumah".....EEWWWW!! Who invented such submissive....monotonous ...politically incorrect terms...I'd rather be dead than be referred to as the above..oklah maybe not DEAD...you get what I mean (Triple B..hope you take note *wink*).

Well today I had a the whole house n kitchen to myself....Cause mummy came back late due to the PSLE marking. So she left cooking to me... Home-maker effa to the rescue..! Err...but not without the help of the MODERN SUPER HOME-MAKER gadgets n tricks....like the Kenwood deep-fryer...tonnes of frozen nonsense....and once again for dessert....Betty Crocker!

The only thing I cooked up from scratch is the black pepper steak (oklah..actually just sliced beef...coz no steak mah)....Using my mummy's own secret recipe..... sedap tau......one of her signature dish..... So I was chopping...slicing...blending...and marinating away.....

I really feel that I can be a full-time home-maker-cum tai-tai anytime.....JUst stay at home cook delish meals for my husband n children....take care of my home....and perhaps half a dozen babies...hehe (ok darlin' don't get too excited..this will only apply if i'm a FULL_TIME home-maker-cum-tai-tai!!).... free from all my work stress.....yadayadayada.... So darlin' work hard n save lotsa money so ur darlin wife-to-be can retire at perhaps.....ermm 30??hehe.....well that'll be a BEAUTIFUUUUL moment......

If I was craving for sweet, melt-in-your-mouth choc fudge brownie...HE was craving for hot, spicy CHILLI CRAB!! Where do we go for cheap....delectable crabs?? Chai Chee Seafood..... For only $25 we get 2 succulent crabs.....I tell you its more than enuff for two....we could barely finish the two huge crabs... ANd the sauce/gravy is superb...perfection.... I guess after this my next try-to-cook-it-myself dish would be chilli crab!hehe....

Oh ya btw review on the choc fudge: soft, moist and paradisically sinful.... Even my mummy thinks its good..award winning good hehe!!..and from the looks of it so did he...."..ermmm...I'd like to take this opportunity to thank.....Miss Betty Crocker.....bla..bla.."I'm blessed...

To me it was just not long ago when me n the gemz had a roti-boy cum fig n olive Iftar...remember that day....? We had to walk along robinsons road searching for the fig n olive.... it was a walk to be remembered...haha

It was also during that time when I had the Mass Sahur session with my darlin frenz @ east coast lagoon....kekek seh baca balik pasal ana & the satay babat.....

* sniffing out the booby traps *

My head is throbbing....my eyes are watery....my body is aching.... I want to sleep..but I can't.. coz i keep on sniffing till my nose hurtz.... thank god i'm done with marking....tomorrow i'd be in school MGB...(makan gaji buta) hee...

Luckily itz ME who is sick and not by Triple B.... that big baby kalau sakit...kalah baby betul...sheesh..(hope he doesnt read this)....

Waiting for America's Next Top Model.... which reminds me, yesterday's new paper mentioned smtg about boobs n boob jobs...apparently Tyra banks agreed to go for a "boob test" (yah ..itz for real) to prove dat hers are all natural....and she past with flying colors... sheesh..the things pple do...kalau dah natural too dah lah....no need to prove it to the world... but it kinda look fake to me...

Anyways the s'pore journalist decided to ask local celebs to go for the boob test to prove if theirs are natural...and guess what?? all declined except for the ah girl actress in channel i ..(forgot her name)...and she passed the test with flying colors too....

What is the boob test all about?? Basically it involves some ultrasound of the breast...then you look for dark patches (if its silicone-enhanced) or white tissue-like patches (if its natural)...something like that...

Oh ya for your info you know the boob enhancing products..like the creams...and massages etc... its all a big boo-boo...or boob-boob..hehe...research has shown that its all just a myth...no scientific proof that they work....so anyone out there planning on trying them out....save your buckaroos...anyway I heard dat when u get pregnant and lactating ur boobies will enlarge naturally..so there...

Ok so what's with the booby obsession?...coz if u look at magazines ... ads nowadays there are so many ads on boob enhancement..itz bound to attract your attention....itz like back in fashion suddenly...
gone are the skinny...model days...vivacious curves are back with a vava-voom.....!
Its funny how when we were younger we were obsessed with gettings A's and B's for our tests..you'd want to be labelled an A student rather than an F....but as you grow older...somehow the universe seems to reverse around you....you'd rather be in the C's,D's or F's range....go figure!

Try ask the MEN what's THEIR obsession with the BIG B's ( or rather C's,D's).... my say..men are just big babies...really...

Arrgh...I'm finally done with the EOY exams marking...Phew..!! Took the whole of sunday and today...it didn't help that I'm down with flu...so as I was marking...there was a whole bundle of used tissue by my side...hehe..i'm sure some flu virus got "stuck" and "terselet" on some of the scripts hehe...
Its darn irritating when the mucus is so watery and u just have to keep wiping it away...ewwww...ok i'l skip the yucky details.... Wish I dun ever have to go thru' the tedious marking period ever again..these are moments in life I'd give a miss...what to do...comes with the job so just embrace it haaha.

Suspect that I got the flu bug when I was bustling thru' the geylang crowd on saturday... With lulu n frenz...me bro n ansari... And since lulu is down with a flu too....and read that shake and azreen also had a headache..Confirm one...!! definitely we got the geylang bug!Gotta say NEVER go geylang on saturday nitez people of the world!!...carik pasal seh...so penuh... macam nak pengsan... But it was nice to finally meet lulu's darlin frenz shake n azreen in person.... Such sweet darlin's... more lil' sisters to add to my "collection" hehe!

On another note, remember how i mentioned I am a closet fan of c.t nurhaliza...yupz the closet fan strikes back!! I bought her Albert Hall concert 2 hr vcd...and I think i've watched it like THREE times already..!!Now I have a collection of her ALL her concerts in vcd...(ermm..and also her karaoke vcd...).You'd be mesmerized by her vocals man..truly..madly..deeply... especially when she sang the first song... my bulu roma smua berdiri..betul..tak bedek!!...her voice is so surreal....so merdu....and she is truly beautiful...tengok tak jelak seh....hehe..ok..ok now i sound like a crazy lesbo fan... But yah..so this kinda seals the closet fan chapter...I am a fan...truly...

I'm always amazed at how people..especially married couples live together 24/7 for their whole life and everyday still have so many things to share and talk about. I thing thats the thing about having a soulmate...someone you can talk to about any n evrything.....

For us...we do meet practically every other day and being "great talkers"...we'll come up with somethings to talk about....topics of conversation include things like work stuffs to the weather...from current news headlines to just crappy stuffs...then to "deep" philosophical stuffs....

Of coz talking also sometimes means "argueing" about our views on these issues and trying outwit....outlast...outplay each other...and in the end at times we end up in some silly quarrel...about who's right and wrong..bla bla..haha..lameness

But what I enjoy best is the times we would just sit around and talk about the future....planning ahead....sharing our dreams and hopes...and many a time we'd both end up lost in our own thoughts...

BUT lately, since the revival of Mr ixus....we've been spending our time...talking less and snapping silly pics instead....all SMILEY and GAY...hehe...So here goes shahneffa's darlie advertisement....
