Eat out with Family Day-@Rice Table

Today 28th of may is the official "Eat out with Family Day"...So mua & family went out for dinner at RICE TABLE @suntec city!!! its an indonesian restautant ala desa kartika or sanur...but with MUCH nicer food!! The plus point is the restaurant has an interesting novelty of serving food...dat is its an eat- all-u-can buffet with abt TWENTY DISHES...but instead of u walking to get e food....e food comes to u!! cool huh...??!! food range frm delicious ..and juicy satay...to tahu telur....huge spcicy prawns...otak2...rojak buah...and many2 more...oh ya..shld try e pineapple and rock melon ice cream....very different...and nice!!..in all they will serve u 20 dishes..and u can ask for second...third ...fourth......bla bla servings..till u r FULL!!! All u need is a big...empty stomach....and e food will be served to u on a "silver platter"!!! and all only for a price of $18.90++ per person......think its really worth...and anbience is perfect.....try it..thumbs up or so says the food lover...so dat was my nite out with family....chit-chatting & discussing house plans....so hope u pple support this campaign too..if cant eat out...eat at hm also can lah...wats important is to get e whole family together....oh ya btw....i'll be expecting a rice table sequel...for sure (once hungry-monster hears abt dis plc)....like with all other food sequels i;ve had...since when have i NOT been to eat at e same place at least twice...wat else is new.... *grins*!!!!

weekday retreat

quiet....peaceful....breezy..plenty of good food...rest and....entertainment!!That was how my past 2 days have been....No i didnt run of to some island getaway like pangkor or sibu...I was at e comfort of my granny's plc...(w my cuzzins of coz)!! Being good grandaughters that we are....we stayed over to keep her company while my aunt had to attend her schl camp....Armed with thick juicy romance novels....snacks and good food (courtesy of grandma)...we were pretty well taken care of! I tell u my granma's plc really so peaceful....we spent our time there reading books.....AND most importantly....we were spending ourtime watching vcd's of epic hero-movies...like braveheart.....last of e mohicans and LEGENDS OF E FALL...! My favourite of coz is legends of e fall...starring brad pitt....i tink this was one of e best movies he acted in second to TROY of coz!!! So there we were.....sobbing....tearing....going uuu...and awww.....over e love stories...patriotism....courage....heroic moves featured in these movies......what can i say...but i'm in lurve with these heroes...*winks*

What is it with men of steel... on horses...fighting one another with swords & shields??? hehe....In light of my obsession over aragorn...after watching TROY.....i've added 2 new heros on my movie-hero list....Achilles and Hector played by brad pitt & eric bana repectively!!....Dun get me wrong i'm not e kind of "fan" dat goes crazy over e actors...its e character they potray in e movie that melts my heart....them.. in person..*bluek* ..not interested lah!! haha.....
Just lurve these knights in shining armour....its like a fairytale.....e prince charming fights e evil monsters or e bad men ..and sweep u off ur feet on his white horse....and brings u to a far a way land.....yah...dream on...But I think e idea that a man can protect u frm danger and keep u safe is what appeals to me and guess tt is my reason for my obsession over these epic heroes!!
In reality my hero....dun go summoning up ghosts army...fighting orcs...or conquering countries...instead he summons up e courage to face whatever obstacles we have......fights e "evil hungry monsters in him" ......conquers my heart....and occasionally buy me a handbag or two...*grins*

PINK weekend

Dunno what got into me...but for 3 days straight i've been a walking pink panther....pink clothes...tudung...bag and shoes....hmm mayb e new pink bag gotta smthg to do w my pink obsession!!*wink* Oklah better give him sm credit here...actually i received a surprised gift frm him....in e form of a lovely...pink Guess bag i've been eyeing ...like since forever...!!!!!! It was such a sweet tot coz never expect guys to pay attention to wat we gals really want esp if it comes to clothes...shoes and bags...but he made an exception dis time....thanx *smiles*!!
So went ard all ard town on saturday.. all pink coz just totally luuurve e bag..cant go anywhere w/o it!!!!And guess what...!!Ended up getting myself ROTK vcd!!!...i KNEW i had to get it coz dis last episode of e trilogy is like e BEST...a must have for me!!!!! Looks like my obssesion with aragorn and LOTR is back!!!so watch out for more aragorn n LOTR entries here!!!.....

Brought my three single gal cuzzins to Jb yesterday in an attempt to find suitable "partners" for them...came across a few promising ones....ada hero2 kampung...ada yg "businessman"....(maju tau bisness....boleh kaya!!)....But being giving ..loving gals as they are...they kept 'pushing' the guys to one another..."taklah...tu u punye lah...." and the other goes "tak boleh...tak boleh..U nampak dulu"....so that was what they were doing...last2....semua pun tak dapat hero2 'hansem' tu...hahhahahaha...LOL!@!! Try harder next time gerls....!! *wink*
Btw to single guys out there....these gerls pandai pegi pasar tau...tapi SUPERMARKET je...check out e pics of them grocery shopping.....they are so good at shopping dat sm even angkat pizza mcm angkat file!!!heheheee....dats shopping with style!! We of coz had our chaperone ...shah...aka our entertainer and joker no.1....he also was our "bodyguard"...coz u never noe what c;d happen to 4 "cun" girls in a foreign land...hiak..hiak!!!

Feel like a huge burden have been lifted today...handed in two assignments tt i've been slogging for...Phew!! What a relief when I see all my hardwork all finally done....
After schl wen over to effe's plc and had a mini spa session there...hehe...free some more....so shiok....of coz courtesy of effe n her sis fadziah....did a little back scrubbing with this new found concoction (all e way frm philipines mind u!!)...felt so refreshed ....rejuvenated.....and cleansed!! the new "tonic" has such a wonderful aroma and gives u a this cool-ice-on-ur-back kinda feeling....what can i say but....woooah..!! then got a nice massaging session....for a while there tot i was in some balinese spa or smthg...but the spa session didnt end there...not till hair "freak" effe...did a straigtening act on my hair....why i call her a "hair freak"??? its a little joke me n tini shared...LOL!!*wink*...anyting to do with hair...effe's e gerl....hahahaha....
After the mini-treat we headed to ana's plc...melawat....her grandma passed away....my condolences.....she's going on strong though...only adina giving her sm trouble coz suddenly became too merengek...aniwaes if u reading this ana....my prayers will be with ur beloved grandmother....
So that was my day...oh ya....ended it at mc cafe w e gals ...had mango smoothie and cheesecake.yumz.den had a nite stroll with him by e beach...gotta say was a day well-spent..and a good start to my "after-doing-too-much-essay" celebrations...many more cool stuffs to do now tt e hols are coming............look out...!!

Have u ever had e feeling that u suddenly wanna get married....like asap!!??? Thats exactly how i've been feeling lately...With all e essays and project I had to do...i began to feel that life is more than slogging and doing crappy essays....life is more than complaining abt how sick n bored u are of ur daily routines...life should be feel with love....fun...family....frenz.....Hmmm i noe i'm like wishing e impossible.... where got life so easy one!!! hahaha....wake up...wake up!! Maybe i'm like going crazy...thank god e hols are coming...!! Actually i've decided to have a new approach to life...that is to STOP COMPLAINING!! When did i become such a negative...naggy...blabbermouth that goes on..and on...and on...complaining..stop it man...or i'll turn to a typical complaining nyonya u meet by e road (btw shah's no.1 enemy!!)
He's doing fine btw...not complaining like i am!! Really admire his optimistic view of life....anyways i was feeling rather down and bogged w work...and he wanted to lift up my spirits a little bit....so he "dragged" me out for a movie on monday night....n we watched TROY...gotta e say i kinda like e movie..very LOTR effects and lots more lurve story here...watmore w sooo many gorgeous heros and heroine!! Anyways it really lifted my spirits and after e show went to get a drink at McCafe..i of coz had trouble deciding between mango smoothie or choc frappe...alas got e frappe....talked quite a bit abt our future plans etc.....he is one person who really knows how to cheer me up and make my day!! and i'm really grateful for that......sometimes its e little things that really counts.....

Hey there fellow bloggers....i have not updated for sooo long that i was shocked tt e blogger update page has changed its outlook...hehe so cool....really missed blogging ..but i just coulodnt find time to update..But slowly surely..i'll pick up e momentum to update and before u noe it...i'll swarm my blog with so much postings YOU wont have e time to read!! Anyways thanx for still tagging me...and to toonie...finally u wont be seeing e kotak buruk wen u come to my blog!
NIE is slowly ending...and i'm slowly clearing up my assignments....so feeling a bit more relieved...Also i've more or less settled down in my new plc..though i still miss my all home...hmm..let see what else is new.....nothing much in my own life...but got important update here..my good fren era and din has opened up a new food eating plc called @Bussorah....well it is obviously at bussorah st...rite infront of e entrance of masjid sultan..so for food lovers out there check out e food..i recommend the baked pasta (but available on weekends only)...yum..yum...Basically they have western food plus e usual like nasi goreng..etc..also hhave some delicious smoothies...(try e choc onw made with..special recipe)...so do check e plc out another new food joint!! and if u like e food..do spread e word of mouth around ....anyway check out e pics...
