* Weekend in town... *

Have been quite a while since i've been to orchard rd...think havent even been there eversince i got my car! Anyway yesterday, decided to have dinner at "puncak" ..u noe small...squeezy food outlet at far east plaza....Gone were e days wen going there was like "wow"..(wat was i thinkin den??!!)!!Now i just find e place so stuffy & smoky ...with tonnes of mats & minahs hanging around. After dinner we walked ard far east..& was quite amazed at e changes...The shops in the first 2 floors have been "revamped" & now looks so funky & retro...kinda remind me of bugis junction..Then went walking along scotts rd...pass c.k tang...(thru' e friday nite crowd)..den suddenly we both stopped...and went "What e hell r we doing here...we so HATE crowds!!" so we made a "u-turn" back to far east where we parked e car...& got away from e hustle & bustle of e town...I remembered then why i havent been ard town...so sick of e crowd there...looking at e kiddos hanging ard aimlessly...with their dressing..tattoos....peircing...& wat makes it worse is dat they seem to be getting younger & younger...some of them barely 12 0r 13!!!...so..so disturbing! Just makes me wonder what is becoming of e society in s'pore today..Feel so scared to raise my children here...like they can go astray anytime anywhere with all this "influences" around them...sigh...Well whatever it is tink it'll be quite smtime b4 i "drag" myself there again...Bugis....mayb even suntec i can handle...but orchard rd is just something else man...Call me whatever u like...but i just cant stand e "eye sore" i see around town...Actually such cultures are getting more predominant elsewhwere too....even nearer home like at tamps mall etc...entahlah...dunno wat else to say...mayb shld just drop dis topic b4 i get slammed for being too critical of e youths today!!!...all i can say..as soon as i can get my ass away from here..i'll be off before u can say....adios..!!!!
