My confession

Today for the first time after a long...long time...i realised i really miss that special thing... ......to feel e sense of belonging....the laughter and jokes we share...The times we spend together....doing everything together...brought many happy memories back....even if it has only been about almost three months since we were together.
It really is a wonderful feeling when you have lunch together everyday and that short one hour of sharing and talking turned us from strangers....to something more...We just develop that mutual understanding that we belong together...i never knew i could feel this way....never knew that i would really find something special in...........................my NIE classmates..!!!
Haha...gotcha did i?? What were u expecting...some hot juicy news?? heehee..Niwaes..yes i was talking abt my nie class...i never realised that its so much fun to belong to a class again...we spend practically the whole day together....going thru e same boring lectures...some fun ones..and even sit together in e library...we talk abt school...students..other teachers....life...r/s...bgr...ex-bgrs....crushes (current ones for sm of them) and helping e "singles" hook up with dat special smone....we r like dis "matchmaking-cum-gossip-and study kakis"!!! There are about 15 of us in all...made up of many different...colourful characters....together we are like a rainbow which can be seen at e end of a gloomy storm...with such company...school is not such a dread...at least there is something to look out foe at e end of e storm...the rainbow.......

Mediterranean food review

The food lover's back with more food reviews...haha... Well todays' review will be mediterranean food...as u all noe e 2 popular spots so far are Sofra and Cafe Samar.....Been to both and though e food is rather "interesting" but not neccessarily delicious....and e price is just a bit too steep....But food at Amirah's Grill (formerly located at Joo Chiat rd)....is way...way cheaper...and just as nice if not nicer!!!...Don't be mistaken by its "hawker" outlook...coz e way e food is served ..makes u forget that u r in e middle of bustling haig road.....instead feel that u r in an A class restaurant!! And no i'm not exaggerating..u've got to try it to believe it...Just for ur info amirah's grill relocated itself from the air-conditioned & posh restaurant at Joo Chiat too the S-11 food court at haig road...but e food quality & variety is still e same...only at cheaper price...can u imagine a main dish (see pic) + a free soup (delicious)...only cost $6.90!!!!! Its a must try.....and of coz for those of u who simply love e soft...hot...crispy pita pread with e mediterranean hummus dips..only $5....I think this food joint deserve a recognition for being able to maintain e quality of food at a cheaper price....So do try it out k....yum..yum...

Hey ya all!! Dun u all feel that time really flies nowadays...I feel it... especially today...Felt e day went by so super..fast..n i did practically nothing much!!!Woke up abt 9am..had two ttn (at home) from 10am to abt 12.3opm....and den i dun noe what else i did...sleep a bit...and voila...its already 6.30pm!!!! Then Went out for dinner at banquet and right after we finished eating it was almost 10pm..time to head back home....!!! waooh!! Kinda freaky dat u just dun feel e time anymore....hmmm....Anyways tom got agama...must go...must go...me gettin too lazy already!! hehehe...
One more thing i realised eversince i've become a "blogger"..my free times are either spent on e net or sleepin or going out...I hardly sit around and watch mindless TV like i used too....Watching movies after movies on e cable.......AND i havent been reading any sappy...soapy...novels...with all love and romance!!! Instead have been reading boring textbooks on psychology...IT and education...all for e sake of assignments... My cuzs have been going googoo gaga over some novels and i feel so JEALOUS man..u gerls have such time to laze ard in bed reading!! I used to do that quite a bit...esp during my 'slack' NUS days....i would borrow thick..juicy novels from e library and den spent my time reading them one after another....And if e book is that interesting enuff and hard to put down...i'll go evrywhere w it...eat while reading...watch TV while reading (??)...and even to e loo..while reading..hehehe!!!
Those days.....i was so filled with free time..i could rot to death...haha...NOW...sigh...now....i really...really miss bumming ard...even one week holiday is like so fast...But some is better then none right?? Tomorrow will just be another day dat will whiz past......and before i can say sunday...it'll be monday....

I did manage to go for a quick lunch at kenny rogers @angsana afterall...Never had i seen the traffic at e causeway so smooth and pratically "carless". Its definitely e best time to go to JB....The lunch was great...managed to send e colt for a wash (though it was later drenched in e rain)..and top-up my fuel till e max...It really was a worthwhile trip...coz e ffod was cheap..and e carwash was a just RM$8 inclusive of vacumning e insides..and tyre shine!!! So for u car owners who wants to save a little here n there...JB is definitely a plc to head for.....
Spent e rest of e afternoon back in s'pore ....with tuition with izzy and nora ...and later in e nite...met my frenz for dinner @T2...We decided tp eat at popeye's since its been ages since we've been there...Wrapped up e nite with dessert at swensens...as usual spent e time crapping and laughing.....
Oh ya...there were three surprises for e day...first was tini's long-awaited...spagetti!!(yummy)...second was a little gift effe bought for each of us..thank gerl...(check out e pics)...mine is e yellow-ducky which shah was going wacko over, trying to take it from me!! NEVER !!!!...hahaa...and last but not least...was era and din's announcement of their new cafe...opening in may...YIPEE...a new port for hangout....!!! I'm now having this boring IT lesson in a computer lab. Hey there...ok update of what i did today...met up with my gal frens effe & tini...together with shah & hairie...Been planning to go out since like e beginning of e week...coz its like e only few times we r free enuff to meet...too bad era & ana couldnt join us...Niwaes went karaoke-ing hehe at delphi building...nice cozy...place....dun wori its not sm sleazy lounge or smthg...very respectable place...mostly youngsters..screaming their lungs out....!!Sang some old & new songs....some funny songs too..."...go..go..go!!" *winks*...hehe!
After "croaking" away..got hungry..and headed off for a late dinner at east point..we tried out e new pizza outlet serpino pizza or smthg...btw we were making fun of e very weird name of this new pizza deli..hmm..cant even remember e real name...the food was ok lah...what was hilarious was dat our table was superfull with all e food...and drinks...including e "fresh" coke..gotta say was fun just hanging out & crapping around....gonna miss these times once school starts next week...awww....the week really flies man..!!Next week is a start of e new term..which reminds me...there's a pile of assignment waiting for me...sigh........

Talking about the past..reminded us of what we did as students...and came to e topic of "fashion trends"...as teenagers we have all been victim of fashion...actually blindingly following e "in" thing then...One of which (that got us LOL) was e trend of wearing socks with teva-like sandals...!! Yup...yup sounds weird doesnt it...hehe..but it actually WAS in then..And we had one person in mind who was a super-victim of these fashion flop...haha *winks*...any guess??? Lucky for me...i wasnt one of them...effe is still contemplating whether she was one...guess it was too embarassing to even remember..*grins*!!Talked about life....religion...basically anyting under the sun...it was nice...i manged to get sm work done too...woohooo...After that we stopped over at mcCafe coz effe wanted to try e smoothie...and was it smooth....even tot of ordering a second one!! did a bit more "relaxing" at mccafe...in e "tropicana" environment...before we head for home....check out e pics....

Hmm...so where was i ??? hehe..Well lets start recaping my travelling journey yesterday....Thanx to lulu's very convincing "promotion" of e McCafe..me & him made our way to united sq to check out e cosy ambience...true enuff..its a very nice plc to jus "lepak"....hehe...spent sm time there discussing...planning..calculating....what??? some impt stuffs...hahaa *wink*!! Then after much talking..crapping & foto-taking...we had a call frm Man (remember shah's buddy we had supper with at east coast??) Anyways...Mr Man himself asked to meet up with him & farah...finally decided to bring them to the "tree-top" in JB...So picked them up & off we went............And was i shocked to see herman with his new hairdo...(checkout e pics to see for urself...hehe!!)......been a long time since i met up w farah...so we did sm catching up & "bitching" abt e guys haha...esp since we were stuck at e passenger seats in a horrendous traffic jam....e guys were entertainin themselves.... making fun of e "herd" of motorcyclists surrounding our single car-lane!! (dats what we got for going JB at e "peak" hour wen all these jbians r tryin to rush home!!)...Seriously wen these 2 guys meet...there can turn e car upside down with their "moves" & laughter...Most of u noe how "psycho" shah can be wen he is his crazy mood...well imagine dat TIMES TWO!!! Excuse e lyrics of e song...just really like e music..hehe..Niwaes had to post this coz find it rather intriging and disturbing...For those of u who dun read e newspaper religiously...Here is some news for u....The society for teenage counselling have found out dat teens in s'pore who engage themselves in sexual activity is getting younger...& younger...some even as young as NINE yrs old!! And there is a case of a 14yrs old gerl who has been with over 40 different man!! When i read this article it really...really sounds so scary man....whats happenin to e kids today....I think wen i was that age i was like so innocent....& "kental"...hehe...oblivious to such issues....Of "attraction" to guys are normal...but in e emotional..infactuation & crushes kinda of way....Definitely not sexual!! Wah seh....teruk man...Den e counsellor also mentioned that most of dis kids are placed in this junivenile programme "beyond parental control" meaning e courts & social workers are given the rights to deal w them coz e parents have sorta "given up" on dem...The thing is these are only e so called reported cases...but no one noes the actual statistics out there...For e 14 yr old gerl mentioned...she even charge for sex to get monry to go shopping & pay for her hp bills!!!I noe its like such a taboo issue in our society but with such prevailing statistics something have to be done......And me being a teacher-to-be cant help but feel responsible to 'educate" these kids...dunno how though....anyway just sm thought-provoking issues for all of us to ponder over..........

The first day of my 1 week break & i'm really in a holiday mood..did nothing "constructive" today...instead spent e time lazing ard...go for ttn w my cuzs...den had dinner w dem at seoul garden. Been ages since i've been there , perhaps abt a year...was so sick of it at one point in time....and sweared off table bbq-ing! But suddenly had a craving for it ...so off i went...w my cuzs.... lulu, izzy & nora....& of coz e hungry-monster too!! Went to e outlet at parco...enjoyed e food...n now so superfull....woahoo...!!*bluek* pening already...so full of greasy-charcoaled meat......double *bluek*.Looks like it'll be abt a year before my next visit there. What more now cannot use e zing card anymore...its expired & they r no longer offering e card...so no more 20% off!!! Niwae was fun hanging out w e gerls...though we were not 'complete'! Was laughin at silly jokes...& crapping abt stupid, gross things i wouldnt mention here...hahahaa!!The master joke "cracker" was trying to crack a joke & 'kenakan" izzy...but instead e joke seemed to be on him..."male terbalik...." rite gerls??!! *lol*...nvm if u dun get it u hv to b there to see what was happenin...anyways hope to meet up w e rest of my cuzs sm time dis week...since most of us is free...its now or never...U need to take smtime off whatever stuffs or assignments too ...n unwind u noe! so if u all up for it just plan smthg ....okies...!!

No one really noes what u really feel....whats it like behind those "blue eyes"...or more-likely "brown-eyes"....Guess everyone goes thru' different situations with different feelings...When people say.."i understand how u feel" perhaps they can only really relate to only part of it...And the rest of what we feel is truly uniquely ours..our own emotions...Why i say this is because i guess dats what i really feel.....Thats y if two people are too different its harder to communicate coz they are like totally in different wavelengths....and if two pple do click...its not as though they are totally alike either...its just that they are able to adapt & accept e differences....Thus when we gerls say we dun understand guys & they likewise..its like DUH!! We r like ...totally ..different "species"....ok lah same species but our physical (duh) .....emotional make-up ..thoughts...are like so different ...but i guess the differences we have are kind of complementary to one another...& some things which we feel r 'exclusive' to us women...like sensitivity etc...actually i feel guys are too..very much so...only "masked" by their male 'ego' & "strong emotional" exterior they potray.....But...whatever it is...its going to be an endless journey of brain-racking to try to depicher y we find each other so confusing....coz...it boils down to e fact dat...that just e way it is....the way its meant to be....the way HE makes us humans...I honestly believe in just being true to ur feelings & express it clearly...so no misunderstandings....but its still susceptible to misinterpretations...coz like i said b4 .....we interprete tings differently....be it "within species" or "between species"...dunno whether u agree w me....so if u dun.....den i guess my theory is right..dat we interpret things differently in e smae given situation.....
Anyways...dats just my jumbled out tots i've tried to express...for to apparent reason....haha...Mayb was triggered by lulu& toonies emo entries...*winks*...hmmmmm.......

Have been missing in action for e past few days...Yupz was bz..trying to get some stuffs done b4 e end of e week...N den can relax coz next week is my one week break!! YIPEE!! Niwae thanx for "awaiting" my updates..glad dat there r pple out there who cares enuff to noe how i'm doing (or is just superbored or darn kepo..hahaa!!) *wink*
WEll...basically my week has been pretty routine...except for on mon nite...went for a wedding at raffles town club (shah;s fren wedding)..met era n family there too coz e guy is her cuz...talk abt small world! E food was quite good...n e ambience & deco was classy man...hmm..i dream for e day my wedding dinner is in some posh hotel or country club..I'll be e happiest bride ever!! *hint*hint* to shah..hahaa...Have a few fotos to upload but mayb do it next time..
Anyways e rain from the north-east monsoon is really making me feeling sick...my cold seems to be getting worse...make me feel sleepy too...wish i can just laze ard at home & in bed e whole day...sigh...oh ya..btw next week i'll have to help out to pack stuffs coz we r shifting pretty soon..U noe e renovation plans of e house...YES...its finally set..n we r renting a plc at lengkong dua (kenbangan)...very near my granma's plc...think will be moving sometime in early april or so...Honestly..can't bear to leave my dear room...tink will miss it...But what to do..life is full of changes & adaptation.....

Have been quite a while since i've been to orchard rd...think havent even been there eversince i got my car! Anyway yesterday, decided to have dinner at "puncak" ..u noe small...squeezy food outlet at far east plaza....Gone were e days wen going there was like "wow"..(wat was i thinkin den??!!)!!Now i just find e place so stuffy & smoky ...with tonnes of mats & minahs hanging around. After dinner we walked ard far east..& was quite amazed at e changes...The shops in the first 2 floors have been "revamped" & now looks so funky & retro...kinda remind me of bugis junction..Then went walking along scotts rd...pass c.k tang...(thru' e friday nite crowd)..den suddenly we both stopped...and went "What e hell r we doing here...we so HATE crowds!!" so we made a "u-turn" back to far east where we parked e car...& got away from e hustle & bustle of e town...I remembered then why i havent been ard town...so sick of e crowd there...looking at e kiddos hanging ard aimlessly...with their dressing..tattoos....peircing...& wat makes it worse is dat they seem to be getting younger & younger...some of them barely 12 0r 13!!!...so..so disturbing! Just makes me wonder what is becoming of e society in s'pore today..Feel so scared to raise my children here...like they can go astray anytime anywhere with all this "influences" around them...sigh...Well whatever it is tink it'll be quite smtime b4 i "drag" myself there again...Bugis....mayb even suntec i can handle...but orchard rd is just something else man...Call me whatever u like...but i just cant stand e "eye sore" i see around town...Actually such cultures are getting more predominant elsewhwere too....even nearer home like at tamps mall etc...entahlah...dunno wat else to say...mayb shld just drop dis topic b4 i get slammed for being too critical of e youths today!!!...all i can say..as soon as i can get my ass away from here..i'll be off before u can say....adios..!!!!

If they had done so...we wouldnt really had mind e wait...Instead they cook up such ridiculous reasons of y e food is late!!But it was hilarious never e less...its our own personal joke now...hahaha!!

Have not been updating as often as last week..Just feeling lazy to update....got a couple of pics to upload ...but just too lazy now....mayb will do it later in e week or something.School has been pretty much e same, i will stop whining & complaining....Guess just have to bear with it...not too bad actually. I've been spending my "free" time watching sm TV..(which i have not done for quite smtime....). Mainly watching movies on cable.I finally watched Vanilla sky...ya..ya ..noe ..super late..Quite an interesting movie! so if u havent catch it..u should!!*smiles*...What else is new...nothing lah..just e same routines everyday..Oh ya suddenly remembered that i should start going for my facial again...have not done so for the past TWO months..Gotta be discpline & take care of my skin..at e same time perhaps its just what i need to feel relaxed at e end of a tiring day...dats all folks!!!
